Does AI set the final price?
No. FieldSquire drafts direct-cost line items from your scope, photos, price history, and assumptions. You can edit or delete every line. The app then applies your private overage and profit settings. You approve the final customer price.
Can I use my own labor and material prices?
Yes. Upload or enter your own price list, and correct AI-generated unit rates as you work. Save the estimate and matching company rates are prioritized on future AI drafts.
How much quoting time can FieldSquire save?
It depends on your current process and quote volume. As an example, saving about 30 minutes across 20 quotes a week returns roughly 10 hours weekly, or about 40 hours over four weeks. FieldSquire is designed to make the field-to-PDF workflow take minutes instead of rebuilding every quote later.
Will my learned prices be shared with other contractors?
No. Solo pricing stays with that signed-in contractor. On Crew, learned prices are shared only with authorized members of that contractor’s company workspace. FieldSquire does not give one contractor’s learned prices to another contractor.
Are profit and overage shown to the customer?
No. Those calculations stay private. The customer sees the scope, line items, subtotal, deposit, total, terms, and approval information that belongs on the quote.
Can my customer sign on my phone or tablet?
Yes. The customer can draw a signature or approve with a typed name. FieldSquire records the approval date and includes the appropriate approval information in the finished document.
Does FieldSquire work for teams?
The Crew plan supports up to five members sharing the business profile, leads, estimates, job photos, and learned pricing. Team members can use their own name as the contractor, salesperson, or foreman on the estimate.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Your selected monthly plan begins automatically unless you cancel beforehand. You can manage or cancel billing from your FieldSquire account.
Does it work on Android, iPhone, tablets, and Chromebook?
The mobile app is designed for Android and iOS, including compatible phones and tablets. The Android build also supports compatible Chromebooks available through Google Play.
Is FieldSquire a full accounting or takeoff platform?
No. FieldSquire is focused on fast field estimates, leads, approvals, and customer-ready documents. It does not replace detailed plan takeoff, engineering, code review, bookkeeping, or professional legal advice.
