A Tile Quote App That Prices the System, Not Just the Squares

Tile is the trade where the invisible work is the job. Anyone can price porcelain by the box; the estimate that holds up prices what's under it and behind it — prep, waterproofing, movement joints, edge metal — and does it while you're still standing in the bathroom.

Tile lines that belong on every quote

• Demo: existing tile off a mud bed is a different day than vinyl off plywood. Say which.
• Substrate: backer board, membrane, self-leveler — with flatness tightened for large-format.
• Waterproofing (wet areas): the line that separates professionals. Name the system; price the niche and the bench as details.
• Setting: your rate per layout — straight, diagonal, herringbone, mosaic — and tile size.
• Finish: grout, caulk at changes of plane, sealing, edge profiles per linear foot.

Floors, showers, backsplashes: three different quotes

A floor is area math with prep. A shower is a waterproofing assembly with tile on it — price the system first, tile second.
